Scene Fix
The scene isn't working. You just can't see why.
Paste the scene that's stuck. Scene Fix diagnoses what's wrong, then hands you three complete rewrites — each taking a different approach. Read all three, and the fix becomes obvious.
Diagnosis
Three Rewrites
Every Writer Knows This Feeling
You've read the scene twenty times. It still falls flat. You still don't know why.
The instinct is right — something is off. But staring at it longer doesn't fix it, and a rewrite from scratch might make it worse. The problem isn't your talent. It's that you can't diagnose your own work from the inside.
I rewrote the same scene six times over a weekend and every version felt exactly as dead as the last one.
Cost: a lost weekend
The notes said 'this scene drags' but not which lines. So I cut the wrong ones and lost the one moment that worked.
Cost: cutting the good part
A coverage pass to diagnose one scene costs me a hundred dollars and takes a week to come back.
Cost: $100 and seven days
The Difference
Stop guessing. Start comparing.
Before
Rewrite the whole scene and hope it's better
No idea whether it's pacing, dialogue, or stakes
Cut lines by instinct — sometimes the wrong ones
Wait a week and pay for a coverage pass
Still not sure what the scene is really about
After
A plain-language diagnosis before you touch a word
Three rewrites, each taking a different approach
See exactly which lines can go — and which must stay
Results in seconds, for the price of a coffee a month
Finally see what the scene is actually about
What you get
Notes First
2–3 specific issues named directly — the actual lines or moments that aren't working, and why.
DiagnosisRewrite 1
A rewritten version addressing the issues through one distinct dramatic approach.
Approach ARewrite 2
A second rewrite using a different approach — different pacing, tone, or structure.
Approach BRewrite 3
A third rewrite that pushes the boldest or most unexpected angle, while staying true to the story.
Approach CFountain Format
Every rewrite comes back in proper screenplay format — slug lines, action, and dialogue — with its own copy button.
Per-Rewrite CopyOptional Targeting
Tell Scene Fix what feels off and all three rewrites sharpen toward that specific read.
"What Feels Off"PART OF THE SCREENWRITING SUITE
Scene Fix sharpens scenes from anywhere in the Suite.
Scene Fix stands on its own — paste any stuck scene and get a diagnosis plus three rewrites in one pass. It also pairs naturally with the rest of the Screenwriting Suite: fix up pages VoiceDraft just formatted, sharpen a scene before turning it into a shot sequence in Scene Forge, or check a rewrite against a character's established voice in Character Dossier.
VoiceDraft
Paste in pages VoiceDraft just formatted and get a diagnosis plus three rewrites.
Scene Forge
Fix a scene here, then turn the sharpened version into a shot sequence.
Character Dossier
Check a rewrite against a character's established voice and traits.
How It Works
From stuck to solved in four steps.
Paste The Scene
Slug, action, dialogue — all of it, straight from your script.
Say What Feels Off
Optional. Add your own read and all three rewrites sharpen toward it.
Read The Diagnosis
Scene Fix tells you what's wrong first — then delivers all three rewrites.
Take What Works
Most writers take pieces from all three. The best version is yours to assemble.
The Smart Way To Use It
Not a replacement for your draft. A lens on what it could be.
The highest-value use isn't letting Scene Fix write your scene — it's comparing three different approaches to see what you couldn't from inside your own draft.
Rewrite 1
Shows you which lines can go without losing the scene.
Rewrite 2
Shows you where the subtext was hiding underneath the stated lines.
Rewrite 3
Shows you what the scene is actually about beneath the surface.
Built For Writers Like You

Screenwriters In Revision
Faster than rewriting blind, and a fraction of the cost of a coverage pass.
Script Consultants
Three concrete angles to discuss with a writer instead of vague notes.
Workshop Instructors
Show a room how one scene transforms under three different approaches.
Table-Read Prep
A quick diagnostic before the read reveals the problem in front of everyone.

That scene isn't going to fix itself.
Every rewrite you attempt blind is another hour spent guessing. Paste the scene, read the diagnosis, and see the fix you couldn't find on your own.

Will it change my voice?
Scene Fix is explicitly built to preserve your voice. It identifies structural problems, not stylistic ones — the rewrite keeps your vocabulary, rhythm, and tone.
What kinds of problems does it catch?
Pacing, weak conflict, on-the-nose dialogue, subtext issues, missing beats, characters who agree too easily, scenes that start too early or end too late.
Can I paste long scenes?
Yes, up to full screenplay scene length. For very long scenes (over 5 pages), the diagnosis is most valuable — the full rewrite is harder to validate at that length.
