GDD Express
Your whole game. One source of truth.
GDD Express turns a concept — genre, core mechanic, setting, tone — into a complete Game Design Document: overview, core gameplay loop, mechanics, progression, art & audio direction, platform & audience, and a monetization approach. The document your whole team builds from.

The Reason Builds Fall Apart
No design document means everyone builds a different game.
Without a GDD, the programmer assumes one thing, the artist another, the designer a third. The gaps don't show up until weeks of work have to be thrown out. The document that would have prevented it is the one nobody had time to write.
We were three weeks into the prototype before we realized the programmer and I had completely different ideas of the core loop.
Cost: three weeks rebuilt
Every design decision turned into a meeting because nothing was written down. We argued the same points over and over.
Cost: endless re-litigation
The publisher asked for a design doc and I had scattered notes across five apps. I looked like I didn't know my own game.
Cost: a failed first impression
The Difference
From scattered ideas to a single spec.
Before
Every discipline assumes something different
Weeks of work thrown out over misalignment
Every decision becomes another meeting
Notes scattered across five different apps
Nothing to hand a publisher or a new hire
After
One document every discipline builds from
Misalignment caught before a line of code
Decisions written down, not re-argued
Every section in one place, nothing implicit
A spec you can hand anyone, anytime

Platform & ModelPART OF THE GAME DEV SUITE
GDD Express is the document your whole team builds from.
GDD Express stands on its own — describe your concept and get a complete design document back in one pass. It also pairs naturally with the rest of the Game Dev Suite: build out the named characters your GDD calls for in NPC Forge, spec a training-focused build separately in Sim Spec AI, or draft a board or card game companion in Board Game Express.
NPC Forge
Once your GDD names its cast, build a full character bible for each one.
Sim Spec AI
Building a training or serious game rather than pure entertainment? Spec the simulation components separately.
Board Game Express
Prototyping a tabletop companion to your digital game? Draft its pitch and manufacturer spec here.
How It Works
From concept to full GDD in four steps.
Describe Your Concept
Game concept, genre, core mechanic, setting, tone — whatever you have.
Genre Alone Works, Too
Skip every other field and GDD Express still generates a full document from genre alone.
Generate The Document
All seven sections generate in one pass.
Export & Build
Download as PDF or DOCX and hand it to your team.
Seven Sections, Real Structure
Every section a real GDD needs — nothing vague, nothing skipped.
GDD Express assembles all seven sections into one document, in the same structure every time — so nothing gets left implicit for someone else to guess at.

How long is the output GDD?
Typically 8–15 pages depending on the complexity of your concept. Enough to brief a team, not enough to become a maintenance burden.
Does it work for mobile games?
Yes. Mention the platform in your input and GDD Express adjusts session length, progression depth, and monetization approach accordingly.
Can I update the GDD as the game evolves?
GDD Express generates a document you own and edit — every field also has its own regenerate button (3 uses per field per month) for quick refreshes. For bigger changes, revise your concept and redraft the whole document.
